Bible Study: Why Does God Love You?

    Thursday, February 25 | 7-8 pm

**This event has been rescheduled from Thursday, February 18 to Thursday, February 25 due to the snow forecast. **

Looking for answers in uncertain times? Here at Dottie's Family Market and The Hive, our family believes that we are children of an all-powerful, all-loving God who He loves us even though we are sinners.

If you’ve ever had any question about God’s love for you and how you can find eternal love and life through Him -- regardless of your past, or where you came from, or the things you’ve done -- we would like to invite you to an evening with Pastor Matt from nearby Cornerstone Bible Church. Pastor Matt will explain why sin exists, the penalty for it, and why Christ died on the cross to redeem us from our sin.

Whether you’re just curious, have questions you’ve been pondering for a while, or just aren’t sure what else to do but know you need something to change, we have a place for you here and would love to help you learn more. Come join us and Pastor Matt on Thursday, February 18, from 7-8pm at The Hive for an introductory Bible study. We’ll have coffee and some light snacks available.

If you’re interested and would like to come, we have a box located at Dottie's Family Market and jar at The Hive where you can jot your name and the number attending on a piece of paper, just so we can get an idea of the number planning to attend. Bibles will be provided to those who need them.

We can’t wait to share the love of Jesus with you!

Abigail's Garden performs an engaging set of songs, from celtic, to gypsy, waltzes and originals that express beauty and whimsy. Each seasoned musician adds a unique touch to the varied selections, whether it’s a small original riff or a beautiful blend of harmonies.

The ensemble includes cello, ukulele, fiddle, guitar, keys and vocals. Lively songs like Tell Me Ma and Whisky in the Jar contrast with beautiful harmonies and lilting voices with songs like Danny Boy, The Parting Glass and Caledonia.

These contrast well with lively instrumentals like the Irish tunes John Murphy and Dennis Ryan Polkas, and the Swedish tune Boda Waltz. Added to this mix are original songs by Tish Brown like Ukulele Blues and My Baby, Renee’s songs including Tell Me, and Laurie’s songs like The Monk’s March. More songs from the likes of Dougie MacLean, Eva Cassidy — even Dropkick Murphys and Jethro Tull!

Come beat the heat with a smoothie or iced or frozen beverage, grab a sandwich for lunch and relax on the patio listening to some great live music!

Our patio seating is limited and fills up quickly, so please plan to bring lawn chairs or your own seating just in case.
